What I Do

I learned many years ago that most model kits aren't accurate representations of the subjects they're based on. After all, if they were, we wouldn't have the flourishing after market industry we have in the modelling world.

So, in building any model, the first thing is to check how accurate it is. Something vital missing?...Add it.

Something wrong?.....Correct it.

This research part of model building, which can easily be 100 hours or more for a complex, poorly detailed kit or a poorly documented subject, is both enjoyable and vital if I'm to offer a client an accurate representation of a particular aircraft or diorama scene.
